Saana Ollila
My research focuses on studying the effects of optimal pricing in the freight transport sector. With optimal prices I refer to the level of taxes and charges which internalize the external costs from freight transport, such as carbon emissions and infrastructure maintenance. In my thesis, I model the optimal tax levels and look at different adaptation mechanisms of freight transport sector to optimal taxes.
